Dr. LeLiever graduated from Queen’s University in Canada in 1974, MD, MSc (Anatomy). Residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Otology/ Neurotology fellowship at the University of Toronto in 1979. He has held several teaching positions at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Indiana University and UNC. He has published and lectured extensively in Otology and Vestibular Disorders.

Dr LeLiever specializes in 1) Ear Diseases – Chronic vertigo, Meniere’s, BPPV 2) Sleep Medicine and surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American College of Surgeons, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, fellow American Neurotology Society and active surgeon at Rex and Wake Hospitals.

Dr LeLiever specializes in 2 areas 1) Vertigo, Meniere’s Disease, Ear surgery, Balance problems, and Implantable Hearing Devices and 2) Sleep Medicine and surgery. He has performed over 1300 pillar implantations for snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea since 2004. He has performed over 3,000 sleep related surgeries.

Dr. LeLiever established Central Carolina Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates in 1987 - a private practice in Sanford, North Carolina with a satellite location in Apex , North Carolina.

Hospital affiliations are Rex Surgery Center of Cary and Wake Med Cary Hospital in Cary, Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, and Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Dr. LeLiever is a Board Certified Physician for Worker's Compensation hearing loss consultations and disability determinations. Dr. LeLiever is one of only two physicians in the state of North Carolina that provide workers compensation hearing loss disability deteriminations.
